Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the Iraqi market to market the 1001 Platform (the “Platform”) to potential B2B customers, which will include Iraq’s leading Internet Service Providers (“ISPs”).
• Focusing on marketing and securing long-term contracts with ISPs.
• Expanding the B2B customer base for the Platform through direct sales and partnerships.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and initial contact through negotiations, closing, and post-sale support.
• Leverage existing relationships and build new strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the media, telecommunications and IT sectors to enhance market penetration and growth.
• Conduct detailed market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and potential customer needs specific to the Iraqi market.
• Coordinate with the Platform product management and technical teams to tailor solutions that meet the specific requirements of ISP customers, other B2B customers and the Iraqi market and customer needs.
• Organize and participate in local industry events, trade shows, and seminars to promote brand visibility and product offerings.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on sales progress, market dynamics, and strategic initiatives to drive business development in the region.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in business development or sales, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets, preferably in the ISP space.
• Strong understanding of the telecommunications landscape in Iraq or similar markets, with established relationships with key players in the sector.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing a range of stakeholders, including senior executives.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in Arabic, with a proficiency in English being essential.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Iraq to meet with customers and attend events.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in sales or business development, with specific experience in the ISP sector.
• Demonstrated success in managing large accounts and strategic partnerships.
• Familiarity with the latest trends in content and in the telecommunications technology, media delivery solutions.
